Will Ryan Lavery going to be the 11th Mr. Erica Kane? All My Children's executive producer Julie Hanan Carruthers and Susan Lucci discuss Erica's new romance with the Associated Press.

Says Lucci about Erica dating Kendall's ex played by Cameron Mathison, "Think about this. slept with his father. He slept with my daughter. ABC Soap Stars To Appear at CMA/ABC Block Party

Bobbie Eakes (All My Children)
Scheduled for Friday and Saturday, June 12-13, the ABC Block Party, hosted by Cameron Mathison ("Ryan Lavery" on "All My Children"), promises entertainment for all ages. Held at the Hall of Fame Park (adjacent to Fifth Avenue between Broadway and Demonbreun), kids, along with more daring adults, can check out the two "Wipeout" obstacle courses. This fun-filled landscape somewhat tones down the challenges posed on the popular ABC "Wipeout" reality program, but hilarious (and painless) pratfalls, slips - in a word, wipeouts - are just as likely in this area next to the Dr Pepper®-McDonald's® Family Zone.

There will be plenty of music too, courtesy of the Divas of Daytime: Kathy Brier and Kassie DePaiva ("Marcie McBain" and "Blair McBain," respectively, from "One Life to Live"), and Bobbie Eakes ("Krystal Carey" on "All My Children"), who are making their Nashville debut as a trio. In addition to performing Country and Southern rock favorites at the ABC Block Party Friday and Saturday, they will perform at a Saturday breakfast show at B. B. King's Blues Club, as well as an unplugged in the Durango® Acoustic Corner inside the Greased Lightning® Fan Fair® Hall.

The Divas will also sign autographs, sit for Q&A sessions and mingle with fans at the ABC Block Party, along with their fellow ABC Daytime stars Bree Williamson ("Jessica Brennan" on "One Life to Live"); Thorsten Kaye ("Zach Slater" on "All My Children"); and Bradford Anderson, Brandon Barash, Kimberly McCullough, Greg Vaughan, Laura Wright, and Rebecca Herbst ("Damian Spinelli," "Johnny Zacchara," "Robin Scorpio," "Lucky Spencer," "Carly Corinthos Jacks," and "Elizabeth Webber" respectively, on "General Hospital").

There will be special musical performances by several up-and-coming Country artists including Love and Theft, and Caitlin & Will (Friday, June 12) and Sarah Buxton (Saturday, June 13).

Beyond all that, the ABC Block Party will offer trivia contests (including one that pits experts on "Grey's Anatomy" against specialists in "General Hospital"), Country line-dance lessons, a photo booth where people can take away a souvenir 4X6 photo from the ABC All Star Block Party, and more. ABC-branded souvenirs will be given away, including beach towels, cowboy hats, gift baskets, sunscreen and T-shirts. As a further respite from the anticipated heat, the network will distribute free snow cones.

All My Children Gets Some Passion

Mckenzie Westmore will join the cast of All My Children in the role of Dr. Sheridan, a psychiatrist who will treat Annie Lavery when she is committed to Oak Haven.

Westmore, who lives in Los Angeles, is thrilled to be working in New York at All My Children which she calls a working vacation. "I hadn't thought out it [working on an East Coast soap], but since we were going to be back here for the holidays, I thought...why not?", Westmore tells Soap Opera Digest. Her being cast for the role was a whirlwind experience. " I found out on a Friday that I got the job, got on the plane on Sunday and was at the set on Monday."

Westmore is no stranger to daytime viewers. She played Sheridan on Passions who was one-half of the shows popular super couple, Luis and Sheridan.

Look for Dr. Sheridan to have a love life as well as the doctor is rumored to cross romantic paths with both Ryan Lavery (Cameron Mathison) and Aidan Devane (Aiden Turner). Her first appearance will be sometime in December.

All My Children airs weekdays on ABC; weeknights and in weekend marathons on SOAPNet.

Coming soon, dozens of soap star-autographed Nonni’s Biscotti mugs will be auctioned off to commemorate Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure, which raises money for breast cancer research.

The fundraiser kicks off October 1st, when fans can begin bidding for the mugs on the eBay Giving Works Web site. The mug auction can be accessed through www.nonnis.com or www.ebay.com/nonniscelebritymugs. Bidding is open throughout the month of October.

Additionally, for every box of Nonni’s Biscotti sold, customers can enter their UPC code at www.nonnis.com and 75 cents from that box (retail $3.49) goes to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. So far, the partnership has raised thousands of dollars to combat breast cancer.
