John Driscoll has been cast in the role of Phillip Chancellor IV. His first airdate is July 16 when the character returns to Genoa City. Driscoll was last seen as Coop on Guiding Light.

Bad boy, Mr. Craig (AKA Jerry Jacks) is making another visit to Port Charles this July. Sebastian Roché is heading back to General Hospital.The summer is expected to be explosive as Jerry causes some serious trouble in July.

ONE LIFE TO LIVE



Michael Lowry, best known for playing Dr. Jake Martin on ALL MY CHILDREN from 1997-2000, has been cast in a recurring role on ONE LIFE TO LIVE. No first airdate yet. Lowry's other soap credits include Les on AS THE WORLD TURNS from 2004-2005 and Dr. Hillman on BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL in 2006.

SOAPnet Honor's Father's Day With A Y & R Billy vs Cane Daddy War Marathon

SOAPnet plans to look at Father's Day in traditional soap opera fashion when it airs a five hour marathon of Young & The Restless. The episodes will follow Genoa City residents Billy (Billy Miller), Cane (Daniel Goddard), Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Lily (Christel Khalil)as they re-live the saga of who's the daddy and who gets custody of baby Delia.

Episodes air on Saturday, June 20th, starting at 4PM!

Catherine Hickland returns to One Life To Live in the popular role of Lindsay Rappaport later this summer. Lindsay was last seen heading off to Statesville Prison for the murder of Spenser Truman.


Forbes March (ex-Scott, All My Children; ex-Nash, One Life To Live)willing be joining As The World Turns as Mason, Noah's faculty advisor. Forbes will first air on July 14th.


Michael Muhney (ex-Sheriff Lamb, Veronica Mars) has joined the cast of Young and The Restless in the recast role of Adam Wilson. Muhney immediately replaces Chris Egan, who left the role unexpectedly fueling rumors of creative differences with the show's producers about the direction of the character.

Young & The Restless Actress Engaged

Young and the Restless Star Eva Marcille Has announced her engagement to to her beau since 2007, actor Lance Gross of Tyler Perry's House of Payne. The couple were engaged at Big Bear Lake, CA over the Christmas.

Eva was also the inagural a winner of America's Next Top Model. America’s Next Top Model winner Eva Marcille (formerly Eva Pigford) said yes when Tyler Perry’s House of Payne star Lance Gross popped the question Christmas Eve.

The couple, who met at an audition two years ago, were surrounded by family and friends when Gross went down on his knee, they told Essence.

“I cried,” the bride-to-be said. “It was totally unexpected. I’m still in shock. I could not even sleep because I was afraid that I might wake up from the most beautiful dream ever.”

The handsome pair are considering a summer 2010 wedding.

Michelle Stafford Brings Christmas To Hollywood

Young and the Restless star Michelle Stafford participated in the 76th annual Hollywood Santas Parade this past weekend. The parade featured marching bands from across the country, equestrian units, floats, and of course, Santa Claus.

CBS Looking For Actors Of Color

According to a press release, CBS Diversity Institute and Casting is undertaking a new initiative to enhance access for actors of color who are 18 years and over to the talent pool for the daytime dramas "The Young and the Restless" and "The Bold and the Beautiful." As an extension of CBS Diversity's ongoing talent showcase initiatives, candidates will be pre-screened by the network casting department in December and the casting directors of these CBS daytime dramas will read actors on a regular basis starting in January 2009.

"Diversity requires action and we see this as a very intentional way of bringing attention to actors of color and continuing to open doors to the most successful daytime franchises in history with this new and additional avenue of access," said Josie Thomas, CBS senior vice president of diversity.

"With our daytime dramas on the air year-round, this is a remarkable opportunity for new talent to be seen by the highest number of people possible in this medium," said Barbara Bloom, CBS senior vice president of daytime programs.

Actors of color who are 18 years and older can submit resumes and photos electronically by logging onto www.breakdownexpress.com under CBS Daytime Diversity Initiative.
