Daytime Emmy Nominations Announced

The Daytime Emmy Awards nominations were announced this morning in New York City. The ceremony will be held on Sunday, August 30th and broadcast on the CW. Ugly Betty Actress, Vanessa Williams will be the host. The full list of nominations will be announced later this evening at a party hosted by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Daytime Emmy Pre-Noms Announced

The Daytime Emmy Awards Acting Pre-nominations were announced. There are still no details on the location, date or network host for the awards show. Nominations are expected to be announced in April with the televised (hopefully) ceremony in June.

In a statement on the official website, the academy had this statement:

"Despite the fact that we are still in negotiations for a broadcast partner for the much-anticipated 36th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards Ceremony, we are certain this years competition will be extraordinary and we thank you for being a part of it."
